Schematic of the automatic and highly efficient single-cell extraction system, which was developed for sampling of metabolites, phospholipids, and proteins in tandem from the same single cell within 10 min. Single cells were individually captured in a 10-pL-level microwell chip, which performed protein digestion in 5 min.
