Topological objects such as Möbius strip and Klein bottle display fantastic shapes in geometric space. Artificial acoustic metamaterials can make their band structures topological in momentum space, exhibiting novel and robust wave propagation or localization in lower dimensions. Recent studies of various topological phases associated with abnormal effects in acoustics further advance topological physics.
